This thick cake board also known as a cake drum is ideal for all types of cakes including fruit cakes. We recommend using a cake drum for heavier cakes where a sturdy reliable base is required.

The thickness of the cake drum allows for the edge of the drum to be decorated with ribbon to compliment your cake design. We recommend using a 12mm ribbon thickness for this.

For an extra special look, the top of the cake drum can be iced for a professionally finished look. When the top of the cake drum is iced, we recommend using 15mm ribbon thickness to finish the edge of the cake drum.

However you choose to dress your cake a cake drum is a no fail cake board for cakes of all sizes and styles.

In these circumstances, return postage costs are payable by the customer. Please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the item via phone call or email, please ensure you have received acknowledgement before returning your item. The order must be returned to us within 14 calendar days from the point of making contact. Be sure to include details of your full name, Address, order number and reason for return. Items need to be in as new condition and returned with reasonable care. We strongly advise using a tracked service to return your item to us.
